About Us
FlashBack is a brotherhood of experienced musicians. Our objective is to have fun while making great music. Each of us has over 50 years experience - we all started playing as teenagers. For some of us, music has been a career, some of us have had other careers but music and bands have been a passion for all of us since we were kids. Perhaps we still are kids at heart - we are sure having a lot of fun.
Our primary focus is live dance music from the 50’s to the 80’s but we tailor our sets to suit the age and interests of the audience. Most of our functions are geared to the crowds in the mid 40’s to mid 80’s - we specialize in seniors events. That gets us into everything from jazz to blues, to rock, to swing and everything in between. We have a large repertoire of music to choose from and it is growing all the time. We also do a few specialty songs for special occasions or event themes.
Its not just music - its a show - complete with lighting, sound, prizes and lots of opportunity for audience participation. It’s like being at the sock hop in the high-school gym all over again. We have a lot of fun and so does everyone else on the dance floor.
We do all kinds of events, parties, dances and fundraisers. Get in touch if you or your organization are interested - we do private, corporate or community events and our prices are reasonable. We can include posters and other planning support for your event on request.
